Recurring Transactions: no Create/Batch Create shown when due (Desktop 26.7.14.3656, Windows 11)
Body
Environment
Edition: Desktop
Version: 26.7.14.3656
OS: Windows 11
Transaction type: Recurring Journal Entry
What I expect
When a recurring template’s Next issue date is on or before today, I should be able to create the transaction:
Either via a Create button on the template’s page, or
Via checkboxes + Batch Create at the bottom of Settings → Recurring Transactions, or
A top-of-screen notice offering to create due items.
What happens instead
In Settings → Recurring Transactions, each due template row only shows Edit.
There is no Create button on the template page.
There are no per-row checkboxes in the list.
There is no Batch Create button at the bottom of the Recurring Transactions list.
No top-of-screen notice appears anywhere.
What I’ve tried
Confirmed I am Administrator and can create normal Journal Entries.
Set Next issue date to today; saved; rechecked—still only Edit.
Created a brand-new test Recurring Journal Entry due today—same result.
Checked for earlier uncreated occurrences and date-format issues—none.
Checked Settings → Lock Date—no lock preventing posting.
Updated from 26.3.13.3202 to 26.7.14.3656—no change.
Tried window maximize/zoom out to ensure nothing is off-screen—no change.
Steps to reproduce
Create a Recurring Journal Entry with Interval = Daily (for testing) and Next issue date = today.
Go to Settings → Recurring Transactions.
Observe that the entry shows Pending but only offers Edit; no Create/Batch Create is available.
Workaround
Manually post the journal in Journal Entries, then advance the template’s Next issue date to keep the schedule aligned.
Question
Is this a known UI issue in 26.7.14.3656 for Desktop? If so, is there a newer build that restores Create/Batch Create for due recurring items, or a setting I’m missing?
