Please the receipts and payments option is not available in my desktop version. how do i activate it?
At the very bottom of the module tab you will find “Customize” button. Click “customize” then make sure that Receipt and Payments tab is activated, if not, you can check it and go to the bottom of the page and click “update”.

post screenshot, receipt and payment is usually number 4 on the customize list
You probably have an older version that includes Bank Transactions and Cash Transactions tabs. Update your software.
