Question about old invoices and products

Hello i had a question about old products and invoices etc.

I have a company and have it for 7 years. Now i would like to clean up some of the old clients, invoices and products.

Is there any way i can remove them? cause now i get the message that i can’t remove some products etc because they are in use on some old invoices.

So my main question is how can i make a clean satrt again so not all the old stuff is still in manager? and can i do this f.e. yearly?

Manger is a continuous accounting system.
At the end of each financial period consider “Close an accounting period” and “Set reporting period” in the old guides https://www2.manager.io/manager.pdf

Most entities such as inventory items and customers have an option to be marked as “Inactive” in their edit form. It doesn’t remove them from Manager, but it does move them to the end of their lists and prevents them from appearing in selection fields.
