Purchase value as cost of sales

Hello,
I just noticed that when I create purchase invoice
the value reports as cost of sales and if I create sales, the cost of such does not report as cost of sales
Any explanation for this change please?

It looks like you are still using the old version. Check this setting, Inventory Items must be checked.
