Purchase invoices different to 'less expenses' on home page

Hi I recently set up my own company after being employed so all this is quite new to me and may be a stupid question…

I have tracked every purchase I have made in ‘purchase invoices’ then made a payment to these.
My purchase invoices shows a total of 32,482.13 but when I go to the home screen ‘less expenses’ shows 34,231.81

I have only recorded everything Ive spent in ‘purchase invoices’ so I dont understand why they dont match up?
