Proposal to Update Currency Terminology: Replace 'Paise' with 'Poisha' for BDT

In Bangladesh, the correct term is “poisha.” However, “paisa” is commonly used in some regions and contexts, especially in India and Pakistan. “Paise” is the plural form of “paisa.” In summary, for Bangladeshi currency, “poisha” is the appropriate term.

Here is the standard form to express 123,456.78 BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) in words:

:check_box_with_check: One lakh twenty-three thousand four hundred fifty-six and seventy-eight poisha.

My Base currency setting is OK.

I don’t recall amount in words showing the name for fractions. It usually shows ... and 39/100
