@lubos , is there a way for this platform to automatically detect and translate posts in other languages into English? It doesn’t seem fair that some users, including paying members, have their messages flagged. Since the app itself is already being translated into multiple languages, I believe an AI bot could be used to detect and translate posts in Arabic, Hindi, and other major languages, or even give users the option to view posts in their own language on demand. The app benefits from localization, and I think the same effort should be extended to the forum, which is an especially important space for new users. The same should also apply to the guides. I know it the responsibility of Discourse, but I’m just asking.
Good point. Discourse introduced a few months feature which automatically translates titles and posts into users preferred language. I’ve enabled it now so let’s see how it works.
