Partial Delivery not showing

When we deliver and invoice partial qty then partial invoice is showing but partial delivery is not showing it only show delivered when completed.

Hello @rahees_mohamed,

Welcome to the forum.

That’s right, partly delivered orders are considered Pending.

However, you can still get into the details by looking into your Qty reserved column. This will show you the remaining Qty.

But before it was good when showing partially delivered invoice and qty

As it is easier to check which order are partially invoiced and delivered.

Some of our clients want the invoice after the full po is delivered.

If I have 50 orders I have to check all to check which is fully pending and which is partially delivered

It’s still easy but it’s different.

That shouldn’t be a problem since this doesn’t involve partial deliveries anyways :slightly_smiling_face:

You have two options:

  1. The quick solution is to click on Qty reserved column header once. This will sort your sales order such that the fully delivered ones appear first

  2. The better option, imho, is to run an Advanced Query like this one:

This should take care of these customers for you.

I could be missing something, though. Do you have any other specific use for Partially Delivered orders?

Yes I am using advanced search now

But it is not ideal for our team

Like for invoices you can see directly which are pending which are partially invoiced and which are completed

But for orders we have to use advanced search or manually search

Before it was easy too just see the status and find the pending partial or delivered orders

Why partially status is helpful to us

Most of our clients need the invoice in the last to match there po

And alot of our clients issue po for 6 months upto one year so we have to run advanced search everytime.

We could go back to older versions bit then we will moss alot of new updates

I am definitely missing something here.

All of what you said suggest that you only need to invoice Fully Delivered orders --which is great since those you can readily see from Qty reserved field.

However, you are insisting on being able to see Partial Deliveries. That I don’t understand, unfortunately.

I’m confused :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Could you please take the time and explain your use case step-by-step in layman’s terms.

The user in store (only have access to delivery notes) will get confused as he is responsible only for deliveries and creating delivery notes and now he sees all pending and partially as pending too.

I hope it is clear now

If something is delivered partially. why show pending should be partially delivered.

if that is not possible than like other softwares just show percentage bar that (20% delivered)
