Is there a way to add page number on the forms when printing?
They are present when using the now obsolete, yet functioning, PDF button.
BTW, there are 50+ results when 
for page numbers. That should always be your first option along with reading the guides. 
Mark I know that, when you use the obsolete future of custom theme and obsolete pdf button its OK, but they are obsolete now and you can’t show them with footer, that was actually my question, how you do it with Footer future
The footer feature as explained is passive so it can not do anything, such as page count, that is dynamic.
So the question reamains. How I add page numbers at the footer of every page?
