One receipt for multiple invoices and multiple customers

Hi all,

I run a shop on the premises of my son’s business. The workers buy food, drinks, etc, from my shop on credit, and my son deducts the amount from their pay and pays that to me. There are a few hundred employees and I don’t want to enter a receipt for each one to balance the accounts receivable. Is there a way to book one receipt to many clients?

Thanks in advance

Do you issue invoices for the sales?

If yes, then you can record a receipt to the different customers’ account receivable using a different line for each customer

If you don’t use Sales Invoices, then no

Yes, I issue an individual sale invoice for each customer/employee so that we can deduct from the correct employee at the end of the month.
I don’t see a way to add more than one “paid by” on the receipt.

You dont - do not select customer in the receipt header

On each line select Account Receivables/customer

Or pay multiple invoices from a Customer statement.

That’s not the scenario Kimm was asking about

True, but if Kimm didn’t know this workflow they do now…
