Is ‘SPELL_OUT_XYZ’ / ‘AMOUNT_IN_WORDS’ available for EUR?
2a) While making use of {{ table.totals[“Totaal”] }} I get in return the amount, however not 2 digits after the comma. As an example, if the total amount is € 123,12 I get back from the mentioned code the correct number and formatting, namely ‘€ 123,12’. However when I’ve got an total amount of € 321,10 I get back wrong/undesirable formatting, namely ‘€ 321,1’. So I’m missing the ‘0’ at the end, so two decimal in case of round cents.
2b) In addition to that, if the total amount is € 5.323,12 I get in return incorrect number/formatting, namely ‘€ 5323,12’. Missing two ‘thousands’ separator. Also here the last two digit in case of round cents will not show (same as 2a).
I’ve checked my ‘Date & Number Format’ in the ‘Settings’ area, and is set to ‘123.456.789,00’.
See attached example: RED underlined is amount (without separator in text, but good in ‘{{ table.totals[“Totaal”] }}’ and ORANGE underlined is the missing decimal in text, also good in ‘{{ table.totals[“Totaal”] }}’
The issue is not the Euro. The issue is that the function only works in the English language, as explained in the Guide: https://www.manager.io/guides/7178. This is because the Liquid language returns the result in English.
On your custom theme, you are responsible for its performance.
The Releases page only reports major feature additions or changes. Most changes in Manager are bug fixes or infrastructure improvements. There are sometimes many per day. The Download page shows the latest version number.
Thanks @Mark, that worked as expected. Do you know by any chance the solution for question 2b -so the thousand separator?
Just out of curiosity, where have you found the solution of ’ | format: n2’? Maybe I can figure out myself the solution for question 2b instead.
In the past I’ve requested sort kind of Liquid Cheat Sheet for Manager.io -knowing with what field can be worked- although I haven’t seen/found one since. I know it’s not open source, however documentation/cheat sheet what can be used would be very helpful.
Thanks @Mark.
Again an example why it would be great of there is some kind of cheat sheet/documentation what can/should be used. Also this would decrease questions on this forum related to custom-made modifications. I’d highly recommend such. @Tut What’s your opinion about that?
