That is correct. Manager uses AND for where criteria. So you only will find entries where both Pump AND tank together are in the description for that entry.

Please note that both Pump AND Tank together (simultanously) should be present in the description of an item for it to show. Your screenshots seems to show Pump OR Tank but that would not work as you can see.

There is no Tank mentioned in the first description and no Pump in the second description. So it will gave you an empty result as you reported and that is the correct behaviour because the Where part of the query will for all items you listed there use an AND operator. So also if the dates would not match or if either Invoice Amount or Balance is zero (rather than is not zero) you would not be shown any record.

in simple words Advanced Queries dont have ability to find multiple description queries.

That is not true. It would find it if in one of the description both Pump AND Tank was present. In your example this would no be true and thus nothing would show.
