Merge of Sales Invoice Items, Purchase Invoice Items and Inventory Items into single place

Sir it would be great if you merge Sales Invoice Items, Purchase Invoice Items and inventory Items into single place called Items. Because when creating Purchase or sales invoice it is very time consuming to select account on every item. So, If a simple way for creating Purchase or sales invoices of inventory items is implemented than it would be great.

that option is already available…
go to settings tab- select purchase invoice items and sales invoice items (click customize on top and check for sales invoice item and purchase invoice item), fill the item details for the first time and you are good to select item with accounts and description automatically from any invoices,

I’m not planning to merge them but it will be possible to select Inventory item from Items column. So it won’t be necessary to select Inventory on hand or Sales of inventory items account. I think this is your main motivation behind merging anyway.

I have a solution but didn’t get around to implement it yet. You will be able to set “default” account for invoices which means if you mostly sell inventory items, you don’t have to select inventory account all the time because inventory account will be automatically pre-selected.

This sounds like very nice feature!!!

Eagerly awaiting this feature, it would save much time.

If it could do the same on purchase invoices too and inventory on hand be set as default account.
