Hello Guys,

to add them to dropbox account or google drive

Any help

Thanks

Your topic title and question do not necessarily agree. Are you actually using the server edition or the desktop edition? If you are using the desktop edition, see this Guide: Move desktop application data to another folder | Manager.

i am using server edition and data stored as i wrote above so how i can out them in dropbox

Are you running a copy of Server Edition on a Windows machine?

Since that edition doesn’t allow you to change the path directly in Preferences, I am going to assume that it at least works similarly to the Desktop Edition.

This guide explains the purpose of the data file. When the App Data path has been changed for the Desktop Edition, the new path is stored in that file … so that Manager knows where the new location is for your files.

It is just a simple plain-text file, with one line defining the path.

So let’s try something…

Current directory: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local
New directory (example): C:\Users\Admin\Dropbox\manager

  1. Stop the Manager server
  2. Copy all existing files in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local to C:\Users\Admin\Dropbox\manager. Don’t move them, just copy.
  3. Create a new file in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local, named data (without any extension).
  4. Inside that file type the new path: C:\Users\Admin\Dropbox\manager, and save. Do not add any line breaks! And just in case, avoid using a file path that contains spaces.
  5. Start the Manager server

It should - hopefully - now be loading the files out of your Dropbox location. If anything goes wrong (you start Manager and it can’t find your businesses), you can get back your existing settings:

  1. Stop Manager server
  2. Delete the data file
  3. Start Manager server

Please let us know how you go.
