I am attempting to set up this program and the tabs are appearing across the top instead of on the left side. I am using Mac OSX-10.14.6 ???
The program switches its layout automatically based on window width. Change the window width. Read the Guide: Use Manager on small screens | Manager.

The Search function is actually fairly powerful. You can also scan the Guides index itself. Guides are organized pretty logically.
