Line Number in Employee

Hello Dear Sir,
Is there any possiblity of having line number option in the employee tab.
As it will be easy to know emplyee in each section or total. If we have line number colm before the code.

Dear Sir,
If you click on employee tab, you will see the as shown in pic ie code, Name designation etc. What I want to suggest is that if we have option of line number as well, as we have in the case of sale invoice etc. Which will be easy to refer as serial number also. Hope I have made it somewhat clear…

But on sales invoice line number is on transaction view. Not on the sales invoices tab.
And i dont know what your use case but just add a custom field and write the numbers manually. And show that custom field as column on employees -tab.

Or in simple words maybe you want to know numbers of employees of each Designation?

I support this request. having line number in employees, inventory items, customers and suppliers tabs will make the report view much easier to read and reference.
