You are very seriously behind, @Lexy_Haughton, by hundreds of individual improvements and several major renovations on how things work.
You will lose none of your data, as the newer versions can all call and update older data files. But you should definitely update by downloading and installing from the web site. Just out of an abundance of caution, back up your file first.
With all the new capabilities, spend some time reading the Guides at https://forum.manager.io/t/table-of-contents/5796. Some of your questions may have gone away. If you still have others, post them on the forum.
I have updated my software, please take me through the steps for the sales of each product and still be able to see the total in sales for each month
As I said earlier, after you have read the relevant Guides, please post specific questions so someone can help. You might find it helpful to create a small test business to play with so you don’t jeopardize your real accounting records. (You can have as many businesses as you want in Manager.) Experiment with what you want to do. Most of it is quite intuitive. But if you get stuck, that is the time to ask questions
