Is there a new tutorial?

Hello, I saw training videos from the manager on YouTube, but the videos are old and probably have differences with the final versions.
For example, in the warehouse section and the definition of a new product, in old videos, you can put a price for the product, and in the inventory list, the total assets are written, but in the desktop version, which is an update, there is no such thing, and the more I work with the software, the more I get confused.
Is there an updated tutorial for beginners?
I want to have a production accounting.
You can introduce a project-based video or tutorial that starts from scratch and teaches simple basics.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum @Peyman_Zabihi,

The development pace for Manager.io is extremely fast, making tutorial videos obsolete quickly. However, they still can be a good starting place to learn how to use the software.

For more up-to-date instructions, you can always create a test business and experiment first hand and you can check the guides whenever you get stuck.

These would not have been done by the Manager developers but by some users.

I know that the manager software is very efficient, but unfortunately this program’s weak point can be that its versions change very quickly and big changes are made.
This is discouraging for me and others like me who are new users and cannot access comprehensive videos and tutorials. For example, I have been struggling with the warehousing part for three days, I saw many tutorials and asked on GBT chat, but still I could not even pass the warehousing part.
I think the policies of this software should be reviewed

I know it is by users
But as a new user, I need to be able to communicate with the app
And to get Tutotial data, even inside the site, as far as I have seen, many of the tutorial are just introductions and are generalized and not helpful. While I think training should be project-oriented
It’s a pity that this good software is so difficult to communicate with because only there is no proper update tutorial

Manager is used by thousands of businesses all around the world - from small one-person businesses to businesses with tens, if not hundreds of employees, so it can’t be that difficult

Please see my post at:

Some people love such approach and others want far less dynamic environments with a far more organized learning environment than learning by doing. I understand the attractiveness of Manager as we use it but the caviat is that others just want a ready product with tutorials in written and often in visual formats such as videos and do not expect much in terms of very frequent changes. Manager may not really be a good suit for you.

I agree that it might not be too difficult for someone who knows accounting, although I believe that he needs training because the way the software works is different.
But for someone like me who doesn’t know much about accounting, it can be confusing

You may have noticed that in such cases we refer to https://www.accountingcoach.com/ which is a free online accounting learning platform that helps to better understand the basic and principles of accounting. In other cases we recommend to engage an accountant who then helps with this.
