Inventory system in Construction accounting

I am using Manager accounting software for our construction company. i am facing difficulties in inventory system. i need assistance to solve the problem. please anyone is here for help.

You need to be much more specific about the problem - and illustrate the problem with screen images

Also, please say what edition and version of Manager you are using and what PC and Operationg system you are using

My problem is that after I purchase consumables for our construction (Site construction). The inventory is increasing in Balance sheet.

Daily we are issuing this material for work. I dont know how enter the entry in Manager. So i can decrease the amount of " Inventory on hand ". In trade accounting purchase and sales are there, but in manufacturing / construction the purchasing material is only for consumption not for sales.

Question 1: Do you need to keep track of the inventory items or not?

If Not, then just purchase them and charge them directly to an approriate expense account

If Yes, then use Inventory Write off to charge the inventory items used to the appropriate expense account - Write off inventory | Manager

Any business eventually sells something be it a product or a service. Your site construction business, constructs something like a building and for this you daily use materials, supplies, labour, etc.

For this check Use production orders for repairs, maintenance, or improvements | Manager to see how to go about it. The trick is using Production Orders see Use production orders to manufacture inventory items | Manager

Note that the “finished item” you produce in Production Order is something like Building X. Also note that you should enter zero as the quantity for Building X. Every day you can “clone” and make changes. Whenever ready you invoice client and add production itemBuilding X.
