Hi Team,
I’m currently using Manager (Cloud/Desktop version) and noticed a discrepancy in how inventory sales are being reflected.
Despite selling inventory items, the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is not appearing in the P&L
Please help me to resolve the error
Which version of Manager are you running? Show a screenshot of the edit screen of how you are entering the sales.
We are using Manager 25.4.22.2264
Please have a look and shared the screen shot as well for your reference
The Summary - Transaction screen for sales won’t show the COGS, it’s sales only. You need to click into the summary of the COGS account
I tested it using a custom expense account (Computer Equipment) like you did and the COGS shows correctly.
Have you tried clicking “recalculate” in the inventory items module?
I have tried everything, but I’m still facing the same issue: the inventory items do not match the actual inventory on hand. Salespersons are unable to check the real-time stock from the inventory system, and only the finance team can view the accurate quantities by opening the summary. Because of this, sales staff constantly rely on finance to check item availability. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue
Custom expense account have to inventory -cost in order to sales invoices reflect cost of goods sold
