@lubos could you kindly check this? I believe there’s a bug in the inventory unit cost calculation for “Inventory Write-Off” in version 25.2.1.2056. The total cost is evaluated as zero (0), which only decreases the quantity and causes the inventory unit values to be overstated. It seems some other users are experiencing the same issue (Unit cost in inventory write-offs).
I use the Weighted Average Cost method in the Inventory Calculation Worksheet, but when using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method, the calculation is correct. I don’t know why.
we face the same problem and when you click in recalculate it change inventory value of jan 2025 by big differences because inventory write off’s just deduct qty without qty value it’s big problem,
dear @lubos please advise us with out change historical data and value
we use Weighted Average Cost it’s not working with us while we write off qty it’s decrease just qty without value in BL @Muhammad_Usman_Rana@lubos please inform us if there’s any adjustment you working on because it will give us wrong inventory value
@Sweey you are correct. The moment you would create a division (even if not used), inventory write-offs would not be processed. This is now fixed in the latest version (25.2.4)
