Inventory balances

How can i have a storage balance? For example i add 5pcs of one item. Then i create a new invoice with 2 of these items. Is it possible to know how many pcs are available?

If you are using the Inventory Items tab, lookup the item and check the quantity column

And if you click on the quantity balance (blue figure), you can review the transactions
