Invalid wire-type; message when trying to email invoice

I have setup my account and am trying to send my invoice via email to my client and keep getting this message.

Invalid wire-type; this usually means you have over-written a file without truncating or setting the length; see c# - Using Protobuf-net, I suddenly got an exception about an unknown wire-type - Stack Overflow

I have setup my email according to your instructions and have even setup a new dummy account from scratch.

What am I doing wrong

post a screenshot of the email settings page and the error you receive.
are you using any custom themes? or have you used html codes in any fields?
also post a screenshot of the invoice. you can hide the private data.
