i have to idea to incorporate some new features in inventry module like mnimum stock level, maximum stock level, etc.
For EX :- Assume that there is inventry item A in a business And We Set Minimum level to
200 units and when we start sale or production if Inventry level drops lower than
Minimum level set by user then manager will give alert to user that inventry drops
below minimum level…
and Similarly we set maximum level of A to 1500 units. so when user is going to
make purchase Invoice of 1200 units ( Assume Stock of A is 500 units now) then
manger should give alert to user that due to this purchase invoice inventry of A
exceeds Maximum level.
similarly there is Re-Order Level Like For A Re-Order level is 800 Units then if Stock
of A falls below 800 then there must be a Alert for Giving Purchase order For
Purchase of Product A.
this is a very old idea suggested many times on the forum. please search the forum before posting new topics. you can give your suggestions in an already existing topic which would help in continuing the discussion rather than splitting opinions in separate topics.
That’s absolutely unnecessary. It would be a repetition of the suggestion already given many times by other users including us
so creating a new topic is not repeating a suggestion?
please understand that ideas are not implemented based on suggestion from a single user. a feature needs to benefit the community as a whole and for that opinion of every user is necessary. splitting the opinions between many topics will only burden the developer.
moreover, this is a suggestion related to a topic already in the ideas category of which you are already a part of the discussion.
@sharpdrivetek, you misunderstood me. Ofcourse, I go along with your suggestion not to create new topic for the suggestion already in forum. I meant not to give the suggestion even in the existing topic bcs it’s already mentioned so many times by other users including you & me and this is already in idea category.
