Import not available

I’ve just downloaded the latest version of Manager for Windows (17.7.47) and am now trying to import files. When I follow this guide it refers to an “Import Bank Statement” button that is not available in my GUI where it’s supposed to be.

Has something been changed with the import function and this is done some other way?

Also, is it possible to import the allocations into the chart of accounts from another program if they are in a Manager.io friendly format? I have a file that is about 10 years old and I would very much like to keep the allocations. I have already created a replica of the chart of accounts so the old and new are the same.

I believe you haven’t indicated the cash account is maintained by a financial institution. Edit the cash account itself:

Unless the box is checked, Manager treats the account as a petty cash fund, with no statement. Hence, the button is not visible.

No. You can almost never transfer transaction histories from one accounting system to another. That’s the purpose for starting balances on accounts.
