looks like a great package and I’d like to try it for my business. However, I’m a ‘static’ page person and that little hand point to ‘customize’ doesn’t need to keep my attention. Is there a way to stop what i consider useless and distracting animation?

It will stop as soon as you customize anything at all.
ah, the little square button on the bottom left will hide that entire bar. Thats great.

It is also true that it is virtually impossible to use the program without enabling at least one of the functional tabs. So this really isn’t an issue.
