How to get reports on Trading Account?

is there a way to get a report on trading account

You need to clarify your question. What kind of report? What kind of trading account?

a report for sales vs purchase only

a report for sales vs purchase only

Sales versus purchase of what? What information would be included? What are you buying and selling? And I repeat my second question from my first post: what kind of trading account? That terminology may mea something to you, but it probably means different things to forum members around the world, if it means anything at all.

In Saudi Arabia, it is recommended to issue a report that shows all Sales income + purchase returns vs all purchases + sales return. this is normal called trading account report or income statement. this statement does not include expenses and salaries… if this makes any sense??

You can easily export the Profit and loss statement and extract the information you are looking for. Trading statement is an information of no use to many. Structure your chart of account and use Totals in your chart of accounts to make your statement show your Gross profit which is what a trading account shows.

I don’t know if there is a Guide on this yet. But check the guides too

@Nassib_Hamze, you can also drill down on the relevant accounts on the Summary page by clicking on the blue numbers. You will see a listing of every transaction contributing to that account. You can export the list to a spreadsheet if you want to manipulate it further or combine with other listings. The question is how much detail you need.

Yes, there is: Manager Guides.

And, @Nassib_Hamze, for information, trading accounts in some locations would refer to accounts related to buying and selling of investment shares, bonds, and so forth. I though you were possibly looking for a way to connect Manager with a stock brokerage to obtain account statements.

@Tut @Abeiku, thank you both for your support. the guides and your explanation helped out!
and sorry for the misunderstanding @Tut , i really don’t know the english terms of accounting, it seems i was trying to ask about the gross profit as shown…anyway the issue is clear now , thank you again
