Can we change the title of Sales Invoice become Invoice (Without word of sales) ?

Where are you referring to? Do you mean the Sales Invoices tab? If so, no you cannot change tab names. Or do you mean the title on top of a sales invoice? If that, the default is INVOICE. I am fairly certain there are only two ways to have something else appear:

  1. Using some of the Indian tax codes that are built in, the heading changes to TAX INVOICE as required by local law.

  2. If you are a long-time user, you may have a Settings option called Sales Invoice Template. If you do, you can specify the title of a sales invoice. (New businesses do not have that option any longer. They just get INVOICE.)

yeas I mean Sales Invoice Tab… and some other tabs also… can we change it…?

Why do you need to rename a tab?

because the invoice is not only for sales… but its ok, I’ve found the way out. Ths.

When you print an invoice, it will say “Invoice” only. Your customers won’t see “Sales Invoice” anywhere.

Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices are universal terms whether you are in retail or not… See Wikipedia article:

An invoice, bill or tab is a commercial document issued by a seller to a buyer, relating to a sale transaction and indicating the products, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services the seller had provided the buyer.

From the point of view of a seller, an invoice is a sales invoice. From the point of view of a buyer, an invoice is a purchase invoice. The document indicates the buyer and seller, but the term invoice indicates money is owed or owing.
