How to annul an invoice

How can i annul an invoice, we made an invoice which has been submitted to the tax authority and i cannot just erase it, but even if i close the invoice still reduces the qty owned

If it is a Sales Invoice, issue a Credit Note - Credit Notes | Manager.io
If it is a Purchase Invoice, issue a Debit Note - Debit Notes | Manager.io
