As you know that the financial year has been change today. then how to keep separate accounting for new financial year 2018 - 2019?
You do not need to. Manager is a perpetual system. Read the Guide about closing an accounting period.

Will the Invoice number / Delivery note number reset after closing the accounting period?
not automatically.
you can manually enter the first invoice/delivery note number for the financial year.
make the number unique to the financial year. as long as the new number is higher than the old numbers, Manager will automatically follow the new numbering.
