I was wondering if we could get a forward or backward arrow in the balance sheet summary screen for changing the period shown by 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year.

To make this easier, when we chose the dates for the summary to include, the forward and reverse buttons could move the dates by the same number as selected. This way if only 1 day were selected, the buttons would move forward or back by 1 day, same if a whole month was selected. Additionally, if there is a need for a 3 day moving summary.

This would allow the user to determine what is reported. When running end of month reports I generally find some items that were missing or the wrong price shown, I currently have to select the day on both sides for every day of a month.

That strikes me as a tedious and ineffective way of finding pricing errors. Since you would have to delve into individual transactions anyway, why not look at tab lists directly, which already show running balances? Or drill down on account balances from the Summary? Either way, you can then use the Previous and Next arrows already there.
