I don’t really understand how EFD works, since EFD is an electronic device, I’m sure there is a guide to connecting a computer to it.
Each device has its own way of communicating with the computer.
Can you share the manual book for the EFD device you have?

honestly i have misplace the settings guidance, but as far as i know is that, there are supposed to be settings somewhere in the manager that will allow my EFD devise to connect with my software in the computer, and now the challenge is where are the settings located in manager software which will allow me to link with my EFD device, or else there is some knowledge i am missing please assist,
@Faustin, you seem to expect Manager users to resolve a problem created by your misplacing instructions for your device. @Mabaega’s point was that your device has requirements for how (and whether) it can communicate with Manager.
Manager does not have settings anywhere that configure it to communicate with a Tanzanian EFD. In other words, Tanzanian EFD does not appear in any list of options within Manager. Rather, the instructions for your device will specify how to configure your accounting program to communicate with it.
The responsibility is yours to obtain those instructions.

Do you have the brand and model # of your device?
If so then you can look up the company that made it, and see if they have the manual online.
Also if you have the Brand name & Model # then you can do a search online for your manual.
But as it has been stated: Do not ask the people here to do your job.
This forum is here to help people with problems about manager.
Not issues with not knowing how to use your device.
