Discount not there

Just upgraded to 17.7.53 and there is no discount block.
I make a new Purchase Order or Sales Order and should get the following.
Item Description Qty Unit Price Discount Amount Tax.
Previously you could type the discount in but not any more?

Discount is available as a check box below the line items. you should enable it if you need to use discounts.

Thanks a lot for the help. Maybe getting new specs would have helped to spot the check box.
