Default Messages in custom fields

Good day, in older versions of Manager you were able to make Default Messages in fields and / or custom fields, i.e. on an invoice you were able to create Summary Terms and Banking Details etc…that would from that point onward reflect on any new invoice created, that doesn’t seem to be the case on the later versions, I’m back to copy and paste with new doc’s created? Could you please assist.
