Whenever I backup my data, it doesn’t show the correct backup folder. I have to redirect manager to the correct folder where all of the previous backups are stored. Is there any way to ensure it always backs up to the correct folder. I can’t see anything in the settings to control where the backup goes. It would be so useful to be able to do this please?
What edition (Server, Desktop, Cloud) and version are you using?
Windows? Mac? Linux?
Im using the Desktop Version on Windows
It doesn’t remember the backup folder from one session to the next but seems to revert to the default Windows download folder
But the download folder is on your computer, which is not the best place as a default as, if your computer goes wrong, you have lost your backup. Could this be looked at by the development team please, as i’m sure it use to reatin the last backup folder?
You are free to select the location of the backup - this could be your computer, an external disk (USB, NAS drive) or a cloud service (One Drive, Google drive)
Yes Joe91, I appreciate that, but I feel it would be better if you could fix it to default rather than giving you a random choice. As I said earlier, it used to remember your last backup location. It would also save time as I am sure most people back up to the same place every time.
