Custom reports problem

is that normal that custom reports does not show custom fields but only show the old classic custom fields

Custom reports are very old and they are being replaced by advanced queries. What are you trying to achieve using custom reports? Perhaps you can already achieve it with advanced queries?

well im not sure if advance quires can get the report I’m requesting but I have custom report for getting the profit per sale invoice as per the below

Profit for each invoice and customer

With recent changes to inventory and cost of sales, can somebody please guide me on how I can calculate the gross margin for each and every invoice and by customer? Earlier, I developed custom report and was also able to generate this from the breakdown of sales and cost of sales reports from general ledger. This helps us in analyzing negative margin deals (invoices) and distinguishing between profit making and loss making customers. [image]

I will make it so inventory profit margin report will be possible per invoice, per customer, per inventory item etc.

This would be better approach than using custom report route.
