@AJD’s comment addresses only the business logo that appears on transaction forms. It does not address the login screen logo. See the Guide: Display a custom logo on the user login screen | Manager.
Is there a way to change the favìcon? For cloud subscribers.
@jeffbangquil, please do not divert topics with unrelated questions.
Just for those Linux users wishing to do this landing page logo modification in Manager. The Logo must be modified in Manager’s data folder /root/.local/share/Manager/ Historically this logo modification would take place in the Manager’s Application folder /usr/share/manager-server/ but this is no longer the case. On a few systems I have worked on the logo.png artifacts are still there in the Manager’s Application folder, changes to them are ineffective so it is misleading.
The question about the favi icon real simple:
Create favi then copy and rename to Manager.ico
cp /usr/share/manager-server/Manager.new /usr/share/manager-server/Manager.ico
@compuit is correct. Logo.png
needs to be placed in application data directory. For cloud edition users, this is what Upload Logo
button at https://cloud.manager.io does.
There is currently no way to change Favicon.ico
for cloud edition but that will be eventually added too. Server edition users can replace installed Manager.ico
for their own.
Hello,
My Manager version is 22.1.45. I uploaded my logo in the Application data folder, as seen on the attachment. However, it doesn’t appear on login form.
The file size is 16kb. Initially the file named logo.png. I’ve changed it to Logo.png, but it still doesn’t change the login form appearance. I’ve cleared the browser cache, too.
I’m wondering if I uploaded it to a wrong folder. Please let me know if there’s any new way to change logo on login page. Thanks for your help!
As it seems you are running the server edition, maybe you should read the last sentence of lubos’ post before yours again.
many thanks
Hi Mark,
You’re correct. I’m running the server edition.
I think the last sentence of Lubo’s post was about changing favicon, not logo on the user login screen.
I have followed the instruction here. The result, unfortunately, is not the same.
This is your Manager server folder, you need to put logo.png in the Manager data folder. For Ubuntu 20.04 server the path to the data would be ./root/.local/share/Manager/
Here you also find the Manager data files for each of the businesses that you created.
Hi Eko,
Many thanks for your reply.
It works! I moved the logo file to the directory as you suggested. Now I can see the logo on user login screen.
Oops, you are right. My bad. Glad you figured it out though.
