Hello
After I generate a forecast and use the ‘copy to budget’ button a new PLS(AvB) page opens but isn’t populate with any forecast fields.
The Guide says:
Generating Forecast Reports
After generating your forecast, head over to the Reports tab. You will find a new report titled Forecast Profit & Loss Statement. This report enables you to view forecasted transactions for any chosen period.
You can then take the report figures and copy them directly into a new Profit and Loss Statement (Actual vs Budget) report.<<
What else do I need to do, or what have I done wrong??
I’ve not received any replies, so I assume either I’ve not supplied enough detail, or the forum/support isn’t able to help.
I’d like to know if this is a fault with Manager, or I’m going off the boil cognitively! Previously I’ve managed to get this to work.
I have created a Forecast P&L Statement and it looks fine when viewed.
After ‘copy to budget’ button a new PLS(AvB) page opens but isn’t populate with any forecast fields:
I would expect the new report date range to be that of the initial forecast.
Budget accounts would automatically be generated and populated with forecast figures.
The above doesn’t happen.
If I change the date range, or add line by line accounts for the budget and add figures for them, when I run the report, the manually entered budget figures appear, but the forecasted figures are not displayed.
Is this bug? If not, then I’ll soldier on trying to get it to work.
Thanks for any reply that will point me an appropriate direction.
I can confirm that in the Forecast P&L Statement the “Copy to Budget” button does not bring the forecast amounts in to populate the Budget column in the AvB P&L Statement, so this has got to be a bug.
