I am tracking some merchandise (T shirts etc) that we hold and sell for a local charity. We place in stock and make a sale but any monies taken area a pass-through,
Simply we need to be able to set the revenue account on the Consigned items to a balance sheet liablility account - Due to xxx for Consigned inventory sales, however the inventory item set-up form is being a bit too clerver and limiting the drop down of accounts available to select to income (statement) accounts. I cannot select the liability account.
Not sure if this is an idea or a bugm but I need to be able to Credit a liability account not a revenue account when these items are sold (we stock them at zero cost - so COGS is zero).
