@Joe91 in English-speaking countries… probably # should be either translatable (other languages might have different symbol for this purpose) or omitted altogether.

There should be no problem keeping it empty as it is obvious that this list of numbers have no accounting meaning and just help identify the lines. This would be different if a list of account or bank numbers.
