Collapsed groups in PL & BS not Showing drill down view

Clicking on Collapsed groups in the Profit or loss and balance sheet statements not working in 22.9.7.376. The Collapse groups do not show the drill-down view when clicked.

The more you click, the more the breadcrumb extends until the page is not working error appears. See inserted screenshots below:

Yes, I can reproduce that: collapsed groups can no longer display drilled-down information.

This has been now resolved by adding two new report types:

Two new reports - "Profit & Loss Statement by Group" and "Balance Sheet by Group"

The latest version (26.5.13) is adding two new reports Financial Statements section under Reports tab. Profit & Loss Statement by Group Balance Sheet by Group [image] In previous versions, it was possible to get these reports by clicking on collapsed group with profit and loss statement and balance sheet. The new way is to simply have them as separate report types.

Although I welcome the addition of the two new reports, I still think the drilling down is not a feature to be compromised.

Why I’m saying this is because:

1. It’s a quality of life feature for accountants dealing with audits.
2. Dynamic reports are now considered by many to be the norm so I don’t think that this is a feature to be ignored.

I wonder why the user can’t collapsed groups by linked to a temp Balance Sheet Statement by Group or Profit and Loss Statement by Group created on the fly? Wouldn’t that be possible?

I still think it will be very nice to bring the feature back. I do not know the background work that must be done to be able to get that back but please do not leave it like this. It a very useful tool feature.
