Is there a way of Clearing history of a business without backing it up?
Administrator should have such a priviledge. Backing up/ restoring is no problem, but is you have let’s say 10 users with different rights, it’s a pain to set them all up again. Haven’t tried to do it yet. I hope there is something for this.
If you think about it, the current approach (which has been in place for a very long time) reduces the possibility of accidental data loss due to user error. If you could delete an entire category of information (including the possibility of undoing mistakes) with a single click, we would potentially see many complaints on the forum.
The approach of selectively deleting categories from a backup still allows you to eliminate a category. But the original data file is preserved. And how many times would you actually want to do this? The risk hardly seems worth the savings of a couple mouse clicks.
