No, you need to enter the license key again after installing Server edition on a new server. It is actually strange practice to install a server edition on a laptop. It is better to instal in on a desktop/server/tower fixed place or a VPS.
Please note that if your Server license is more than a year old and did not pay for Maintenance for the subsequent years that you should install a version for the relevant year from Github Releases · Manager-io/Manager · GitHub
