Bulk update division code

Hi,

I finding balance sheet of all division not tallying to total. When i went into the details, i have not marked the division code where it was displayed optional.

So i have to find the journal and bank entries which are without division code and then manually enter the division

is there any way it can be added to the bulk update along with division code as well.

Hi @Partha,

For now, your best option is to use Division Exception Report to find these transactions and fix them manually.

However, your case should be taken care of by planned improvements of Batch recode feature.

Vat rate increase

Batch Update is the easiest way right now but eventually Batch Recode will be able to do it even faster because you will be able to change single field in bulk (currently it works for checkboxes only but the plan is to make it work for dropdown boxes too)

i am doing it manually. if this can be another field near find and recode account number, it will go a long way. thanks for considering
