How do I make a build assembly deduction from items in inventory? I want the deduction to show at the times the build was created, so I don’t really want to just “edit” the inventory if that makes any sense. I need it to show the five items used and the dates they were made. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this? For the record, I did read the forum and guides on related topics and didn’t find this one.
What is a
build assembly deduction?
When you have a total number of items purchased and you need to pull them from inventory to create a finished product to sell (Gift baskets, for example, would pull one basket, 2 oz of shredded paper, 3 ft of cellophane, 4 chocolate bars, 2 bags of coffee, 1 box of tea, etc.) This looks like a deduction, aka cost of goods sold, to create the finished sellable product. The catch is: these items are also sold separately at different (higher) costs.
