I sell books and We are having book codes in inventory, we create invoice using the book codes, now we are planning to use ISBN code for creating invoices rather than Book code bcoz some times we make mistakes in typing.
Is possible to use Bar Code scanner so that it can read the item from the bar code rather than book code
it will work perfectly as per my knowledge.
i am using barcode reader to scan Seriel No and its working…
but you have to place the cursor on specific field everytime
As @ramesh492 stated, it should work. This is because a barcode scanner acts like a keyboard, and the underlying application (Manager, in this case) cannot tell the difference and thinks it’s just someone typing in the number.
^ Just keep this in mind. (You have to do the same thing when typing with keyboard manually, too.)
