I would like to know how to create a bank account or does it fall under cash account?

yup the ‘cash account’ tab is both bank account and cash account. you can create under that tab

Be sure to check the box indicating the account is maintained by a financial institution. Otherwise, Manager will treat it like a petty cash fund and you will not be able to import statements or reconcile.
