What do you mean by left-and-right format ?
This view looks clearer for figures
That is not how financial reports are generally presented in company reports
You could export the Manager Reports to a spreadsheet and reformat the data there

That’s a fair point, Joe. While the T-account view is great for a quick visual balance, Manager definitely sticks to the vertical standard. I’ve found that the ‘Copy to Clipboard’ feature is actually pretty decent for this - you can pull the data into Excel or Google Sheets and set up a side-by-side template in just a few minutes. It’s an extra step, but it gives you that layout you’re looking for!
