Question: is it ever considered to have an automatic download (daily/weekly/monthly) of exchance rates? There will be plenty of sites where API’s can download in XML or jason format?

Please do not divert topics with unrelated questions. Yours was moved to a new topic because it had nothing to do with lock dates.
My principle is not to hardcode anything into Manager that is not immutable. And external APIs are not immutable.
Now, that doesn’t mean Manager will never have this. I will have to find another way.
Maybe a similar mechanism to submission of invoices, ie localisation which can import information into Manager.
That’s a great philosophy.
A call builder with exposed liquid variables wouldn’t be a bad idea
