API and Mysql database

I’m not a programmer. So I beg your pardon if I say something wrong or out of this world.

From what I can understand from API you can access to all the data inside a Manager batabase. As anyone manage how to write them (and then synchronize them) in an external Mysql database?
If so how? Through a PHP script?
This would be very useful in order to make some business intelligence reporting.

Secondly from what I see in the APIs there’s no way to access through them to reports but you can access only to raw data. Is it correct?

API only allows to access raw data. It could be extended to reports in future though.

Any integration between Manager and other system will require non-trivial programming effort.

@lubos do you think that it would be possible to have an index.json also in the collection of objects under “Business” grouped by type?
